The Australian Shepherd's Origin lies in the ranches of the Great American West, where this versatile and intelligent breed has been valued for decades by cowboys, ranchers and stockmen.  While Aussies continue to work as stockdogs and compete in herding trials, the breed has earned recognition in other roles because of their trainability and eagerness to please.  Australian Shepherds are successful Search and Rescue dogs, disaster dogs, guide, service, and therapy dogs.  They are highly regarded for their skills in obedience, agility, and flyball.  And, most of all, they are beloved family companions. At Triple Cross Aussies we strive to maintain all the breed characteristics that have made this breed so well loved.  Our puppies are born in our home where they are lovingly cared for until it is time for them to go home to yours.  They are well socialized and familiar with children and other animals.  Australian Shepherds are highly intelligent with a strong desire to please.  This makes them wonderful family members that provide years of companionship and enjoyment.  Our dogs are part of our everyday lives.  If you should decide to make an Australian Shepherd part of yours, we believe that you will be very happy with that decision!
